Setting up your JustGiving page takes a few minutes and when created you can start sharing it with your Big Summer BBQ guests so you can start raising funds.
Here’s a brief guide to help you with the process:
Click the ‘Setup your BSBBQ JustGiving page’ button on the website. You will then need to login or create a JustGiving account.
You’ll then see a list of event options, we suggest selecting ‘Doing Your Own Thing.’
On the next page select ‘Something else’ in the dropdown box. Fill in the event name: The Big Summer BBQ. You can put the date of your BBQ in the next section but this is optional. Tick the next box if you are holding the event in memory of someone Then choose the name for your page’s online address eg: Joe-Bloggs-Big-Summer-BBQ. Select ‘yes’ for your page to claim gift aid. Then please do opt in to hear from Cure Leukaemia so we can keep in touch and thank you for your fundraising.
Then click ‘Create Your Page’ and you are good to go!
Once your page is created you can amend the text written on your page to suit you, include updates on your BBQ preparations and start sharing the page with your guests and on social media!
Remember, everyone who raises £100 or more from their Big Summer BBQ will automatically become a Cure Leukaemia Lifesaver 100 Club member!
